The infamous game Diablo 2: Resurrected still is lacking one of the most demanded feature. Yeah, Diablo 2: Resurrected Do Not Support Crossplay.

Diablo 2: Resurrected was the highlight of the 2021 Blizzard event, which was well received by fans. Expected feature that does not currently exist in Diablo 2: Resurrected.

Diablo 2 was released in 2000 and now this remaster is released for PC and home consoles. Although this game is supposed to have new features, but unfortunately crossplay is not one of them.

IGN Middle East interviewed game designer Andre Abrahamian and producer Matthew Cederquist. The two confirmed that players can use the main game saves, and the crossover feature allows players to have the best possible experience on their favorite platform.

Although it is possible to transfer saves between different platforms, Diablo 2: Resurrected does not support cross-play. This decision was made due to differences in the user interface, the different layout of the controllers and other design elements. Of course, it is possible that this feature will be added to the game in the future.

Blizzard and Vicarious Visions want Diablo 2: Resurrected to provide players with a game-like experience. The Diablo 2 was released for PC only in 2000, and the development team has focused heavily on compatibility with console controllers. Therefore, there is still the possibility of cross-play between PC and consoles.

Some time ago, the game’s developers praised DualSense, which can create a different experience for players. There have been many changes in the game related to the multiplayer and gameplay sections, but the biggest improvement of the game is related to the visual effects. Diablo 2: Resurrected graphics have been completely remastered to bring it closer to today’s standards and support 4K resolution on PC.

Diablo 2: Resurrected will be released this year for PC, Xbox X / S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
